China ki National Spring Swimming Championships Sunday night ko Qingdao me sampanna hui, jisme 18 saal ke rising star Zhang Zhanshuo ne final day apna stellar performance continue rakhte huye iss event me apna 4th gold medal secure kiya.

Men’s 400m individual medley final me Zhang ne starting se hi lead maintain rakhi aur ultimately 4 minutes and 13.40 seconds ke time ke saath race jeet li. Isse pahle, Shandong ke resident ne 1500m freestyle, 200m butterfly and 400m individual medley me pahle hi gold medal jeet liya tha.

Women’s 100m butterfly final me top qualifier Wang Yichin ne 57.38 second ke time ke saath first place secure kiya. Yu Yiting and Gong Zhenqi ne respectively second and third place secure kiya. Olympic champion Zhang Yufei jo six-month ke break ke baad training par lauti thi, apna best form haasil karne me unable rahi aur 58.21 second ke time ke saath 5th place par rahi.

Apne kam se kam ideal performance ke baawjood, Jhang ne iss competition ko “baseline test” ke roop me dekhne ki ichha dikhai. Unhone kaha, “Main apne future races me isse bhi kharab perform nahi karungi.”

Women’s 100m breaststroke final me, seasoned 29-year-old Ye Shiwen ne 1 minute and 7.81 seconds ke time ke saath sabse pahle wall ko touch kiya, iss event me apna first title jeeta. Notably, isse pahle women’s 100m backstroke competition me, Ye ne ak din me do baar personal best perform kiya tha, jo unke excellent competitive form ko highlight karta hai.
