Stay tuned to all of SwimSwam’s U.S. Olympic Trials coverage here.
Went to Trials last night, awesome experience. Carson Foster getting redemption from 2021, Gretchen Walsh close to her WR again, Hunter Thompson surviving a slip on the start, etc.
Only one disappointment. It looked like one of the athletes in the men’s 200 free swimoff was trying to play headgames (I hope there was another explanation). Good to see the other athlete come from behind and win the swimoff.
Anyone find info on when doors open for spectators prior to each session?
Will there be ads for prelims on Peacock, even if you pay for Premium +?
Is there any update on where ticket sales numbers stand?
Contemplating coming for the first weekend of sessions.
I haven’t done the re-count, but there are plenty left and plenty of people trying to offload unused ones.
Hi all, not sure if this is allowed but:
I have 2 tix for all sessions near mid-pool and cannot go. I’ve had trouble selling these online – anyone have any advice on how to get something for these? I am looking to sell them heavily discounted at this point since I cannot go at all 🙁
This will be my first time attending the trials. I have a single day ticket for Saturday. Any words of advice on getting the full experience or things to be aware of?
Plan to check out the Main Street event between sessions. Hop around that area during the afternoon and see who you bump into.
Official RealCrocker5040 BAEleb Dressel Predictions
100 Fly: 49.83 for 1st
100 Free: 47.56 for 3rd
50 Free: 21.18 for 1st
Can you stop it with these “real Crocker predictions omg” it’s actually so annoying. I agree with most of your opinions too, but your crappy nicknames and constant spam of predictions in every damn comment section makes me wanna resent you just for existing. You single-handedly making me feel bad for Michael Andrew with every damn sell comment acting like a little kid. Please shut up
If it is for the best in public interest I will with utmost certainty cease posting MA slander and my personal trials predictions
keep the legitimate predictions up haha
Official RealCrocker5040 Michael Andrew OT Predictions
100 Breast: 59.17 for 3rd (SELL)
100 Fly: 51.35 for 4th or worse (SELL)
50 Free: 21.65 for 3rd or worse (SELL)
The Seller of the Century Michael Andrew will FAIL to make the team
Gold Medal Mel is heartbroken.
My personal motto is “Anyone but MA” but I am curious, who is your #2 for the 100 BR?
I’ve got a feeling that Matheny or Liam Bell could slip in there 😏😏😏
