Cameron Horner from Hebron, Maryland has committed to swim at the United States Naval Academy for 2020. She will join Elly Deas in the class of 2024.

Horner swims for Henson Family YMCA in Salisbury, Maryland. She specializes in free and back, and while proficient at all distances, she has a sweet spot in the 200s. She finaled in all her events at 2019 YMCA Short Course Nationals, finishing 23rd in the 100 free, 17th in the 200 free, 18th in the 500 free, and 12th in the 200 back. She earned PBs in all four events. She had an even better showing at Long Course YNats this summer, finishing 5th in the 100 free (58.20), 12th in the 200 free (2:07.00), 19th in the 400 free (4:29.12), 11th in the 100 back (1:05.21), and 20th in the 200 back (2:21.44).
Horner will join a stellar freestyle group at Navy, led by current sophomore Martina Thomas (49.60/1:44.07 last season). She will also overlap with Sarah Sorensen, Ali Kozlina, Lindsay Tanner, Brooke West, and Caitlyn Koo. The backstroke group will be ready for new talent after current senior Jamie Miller (54.04/1:55.14 last year) graduates. Horner will overlap with Ashley Boddiford, Madison Milbert, Brooke West, Ally Michaels, and Alayna Nielson.
