Michael Phelps wins a lot. He’s won 23 Olympic gold medals. He’s won 27 World Championships. He’s won hundreds (or thousands) of races in between.
And on Sunday, he won again – in a different medium.
On Sunday, Phelps became the first-ever winner of the live, all-star version of SpikeTV’s television show Lip Sync Battles.
Facing off against show veterans John Legend, Terry Cruz, and Olivia Munn, Phelps got the anchor position and sang Lose Yourself by Eminem.
The result was the loudest cheer by the studio audience and an ultimate victory as the result of fan voting after his performance.
Above, watch Phelps’ full performance from the show. There was lots of “Phelps Facing” going on as he did his best Eminem impersonation.
Phelps isn’t the only swimmer who will do some dancing this fall – the controversial Ryan Lochte will be on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.
I’m not really a Phelpie, but I like the way he’s trying to do something different. We know he’s out of his element, damn this man has spent the majority of his life in water and still has his sea legs, but to try new things in front of millions makes him a better man than most.
