Sjostrom doesn’t have that great of a start, accept being in first after the breakout on her way to 24.17. Looked pretty good to me, Rowdy.

Any idea if the men’s 200 free will be available? Just because mp doesn’t win doesn’t mean USA swimming should withhold it or have “technical difficulties”. There are 7 other dudes in that race some of us might want to see…

Maybe Missy is just tired from hard training. I hope she finds her groove.

before watching the video, it simply looks like she was 3rd in two event…good but nothing spectacular. However, considered those are two consecutive events (200 free and 200 back, with men’s 200 free in between), it was a short turn around. In the 200 back, she was much closer at 1st breakout to stayed with Katinka, and had a great last 50m to get third ahead of Baker and Bouchard. Note that Missy was 1second behind Baker at the 3rd turn. To be able to charge in the last 50 and get third made it a great race.
