The Hokies are coming off of strong performances at the Virginia Tech Swimming & Diving Challenge where the men earned victories over Penn State and Old Dominion and the women earned victories over Old Dominion, Liberty and James Madison.

For the women, Klaudia Nazieblo led the team, earning victories in the 200 yard butterfly, the 200 yard backstroke and the 100 yard individual medley. She wasn’t the only one earning victories, as Holly Harper, Alyssa Bodin and Weronika Paluscek each finished first in a few of their events.

In the diving events, Thomas Shinholser had two first-place finishes in both the 1-meter and the 3-meter and Ashley Buchter won the 3-meter and Kaylea Arnett won the 1-meter for the women.

North Carolina comes into the meet with impressive performances against Tennessee and Georgia already this year, earning their women a No. 5 ranking in the CSCAA poll.
