Video: A Sneak-Peek Into The Season Of A Division 1 Swim & Dive Team

The UC Davis swimming and diving team ended their season with a third place finish at the MPSF conference championships with 592 total points.

Three swimmers set school and meet records in sophomore Solie Laughlin who defended her conference title in the 200 backstroke with a meet record time of 1:55.37. Marissa Brown paced the team with a third place finish in the 1,650 free with a season-best time of 16:47.58 and diver Shaifali Goyal broke her own record with a qualifying score of 229.90 to finish second in the event.

This season, UC Davis was able to accumulate 75 best times, four swimmers with D1 B cuts, two divers to the NCAA Zones meet and one swimmer, Laughlin to the NCAA swim meet in the 400 IM.
