Video Interview: Teri McKeever gives shoutout to Natalie Coughlin

As we spoke to Teri NcKeever after the finals session of Day 2 at the Women’s NCAA Championships, a hot topic of discussion was the bundle of records that were broken.

Missy Franklin broke her own 200 free NCAA, American, and US open record, while Natalie Coughlin’s 100 butterfly record, all the way back from 2002, was broken by Louisville’s Kelsi Worrell.

McKeever speaks to how both Cal athletes, Natalie and Missy, were ahead of their time, and the calibur of records they’ve set in each of their collegiate careers.
