Video Interview: Calgary Coach Mike Blondal Reflects On CIS Championships

The University of Calgary had an impressive showing at this year’s CIS Championships displaying that they’re one of the top teams in the nation at the current time.

The women placed fourth overall, and the men placed third. Two of Calgary’s athletes were honoured after the meet. Fiona Doyle received the female swimmer of the year award for an impressive breaststroke sweep that led to several Irish national records as well as a CIS Championship record.

Bogdan Knezevic was given the Student-Athlete Community Service award.
