We got the chance to catch up with North Baltimore head coach Bob Bowman, who thought that as a whole the Pro Swim Series stop in Mesa went well for his team. He commented that he was pleased with how they were finishing, but had little speed because of fatigue, which is right where he wants them to be.
When asked, Bowman commented that he wouldn’t mind seeing his star athlete Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky racing in the 400 free, giving a shoutout to the female gold medalist who went the same time in prelims as Michael Phelps in the event on Friday.

You are basically proposing a freak show. Let’s throw the bearded woman in!
MP is looking the fittest I’ve seen him in a while (not to say he wasn’t fit before, he could smoke all of us in a second). Gotta say I’m excited to hear of him training his hardest again.
I think the 800 or 1500 would be even more interesting!! 😉
If I recall, Phelps went like a 15:30 in the 1500 when he was about 15 years old.
