Vashi ke Dhruv Mohite (19), jo ki B.Com 2nd year ke student hai Karamveer Bhaurao Patil College ke, unhone recently hi Best of India records mein enter kiya hai. Unhone Dharamtar Jetty-Rewas Port Channel mein swim karne wale fastest swimmer bann gaye, unhone 18km ka distance 3 hours 56 minutes and 24 seconds mein complete kar liya.
Mohite ne is record ko January 15, 2020 mein attempt kiya tha jise Best of India Records authorities ne recognised kiya tha, aur ab ise national record ki tarah recognised kiya jaa raha hai. Ab unka aim hai Dharamtar se Gateway of India tak swim karna jiska distance 36km ka hai. Ye attempt pahle Maharashtra State Amateue Aquatic Association ke dwara certified kiya gaya tha. “Ye mera first record hai jo ki Best of India Records mei featured kiya gaya hai. Isse mujhe aur achieve krne ka motivation milta hai,” Mohite ne kaha.
