WOMEN
BROWN DEER, Wis.–University of Wisconsin-La Crosse won its ninth consecutive title following three days of competition at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship (presented by Culver’s) at Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center on Feb. 15.
The Eagles secured the league-best 20th championship with 812.50 points. UW-Eau Claire placed second with 777 points, UW-Whitewater third with 603.50, UW-Stevens Point fourth with 559 and UW-Oshkosh fifth with 369.
The Eagles had two individuals win titles during the third day of competition. Maria Vaudreuil collected her third consecutive championship in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:23.67, while Sydney Vian won the three-meter diving crown for the second straight year with a score of 429.55.
UW-Whitewater’s Renata Schlomann won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.90 seconds and was named the Swimmer of the Meet for her efforts during the three-day championship. She also helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team win the event for the first time in program history with a time of 3:32.93. Schlomann was joined by Bailey Weston, Savana Bitz and Olivia Theobald. Weston also received the Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete Award.
The Warhawks’ Meredith Gustafson successfully defended her title in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:09.07.
UW-Stevens Point’s Anna Pilecky established a conference meet record time of 17:07.18 enroute to winning the 1,650-yard freestyle for the second straight year, while UW-Eau Claire’s Emma Steffel claimed the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:06.67.
UW-Oshkosh’s Mariah Marowsky received Newcomer of the Year honors. A newcomer is defined as a student-athlete who has used her first season of participation in women’s swimming & diving this season.
UW-La Crosse’s Steve Mohs was selected the Coach of the Year.

BROWN DEER, Wis.–University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point secured its 21st straight first-place finish following three days of competition at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship (presented by Culver’s) at Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center on Feb. 15.
The Pointers won the 24th league title in program history with 964 points. UW-Eau Claire placed second with 807 points, UW-Whitewater third with 571, UW-La Crosse fourth with 407 and UW-Oshkosh fifth with 325.
UW-Stevens Point won two individual titles and one relay crown during the third day of competition. Jacob Aegerter claimed the 200-yard butterfly for the fourth straight year with a conference meet record time of 1:49.07. He is just the third individual in league archives to win the event four times.
Aegerter also was a member of the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay team that posted a time of 3:02.77. He was joined by Payton Kilian, Jacob Larsen and Sam Young. Larsen received Newcomer of the Year honors. A newcomer is defined as a student-athlete who has used his first season of participation in men’s swimming & diving this season.
The Pointers’ Alec Jeffers emerged with the title in the 200-yard backstroke after posting a time of 1:51.52.
UW-Eau Claire’s Dylan Glumac-Berberich secure the one-meter diving crown for the fourth consecutive year with a score of 572.95. His is the third diver in WIAC history to win four one-meter championships. Glumac-Berberich also received Diver of the Meet recognition for the third straight season and was selected the recipient of the Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete Award.
The Blugolds’ Collin Miller claimed the 100-yard freestyle for the third time in his career with a time of 44.19 seconds. He also won the event in 2017 and 2019. Miller also collected his third Swimmer of the Meet plaque for his efforts during the three-day championship. He is the first swimmer to secure the distinction three times.
UW-Eau Claire’s Michael Bylander established a conference meet record of 2:00.87 enroute to placing first in the 200-yard backstroke, while UW-Oshkosh’s Jarrett Lieder won the 1,650-yard freestyle for the second straight year with a time of 16:15.46.
UW-Stevens Point head coach Al Boelk was selected the Coach of the Year for the 12th time in his career.
