OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University’s women’s swim & dive team opens up its 2015-16 campaign with the annual Red & White Intrasquad Meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Nixon Aquatic Center. There is no admission charge for the event.
The RedHawks return 27 members from last season and welcome seven freshmen to this year’s roster. Miami returns the NCAA 3-meter dive runner-up, junior Pei Lin, who was also named the MAC Diver of the Year. The RedHawks also return juniors Stephanie LeMire and Elise Campbell. LeMire was a two-time MAC Swimmer of the week last season and named first team all-MAC. Campbell was on the all-MAC second team.
The Miami men’s swimming and diving team will also have its Red & White Intrasquad Meet on Saturday at the Nixon Aquatic Center.
The women’s team begins their season against Purdue on Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. in the Nixon Aquatic Center.
