BATON ROUGE, La. – The Texas A&M men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will battle the LSU Tigers in an 11 a.m. dual meet on Saturday at the LSU Natatorium.
Women’s Team Update:
The No. 6 Texas A&M women’s squad takes a 6-2 dual meet record into Saturday’s competition against the No. 23-ranked and 6-0 Tigers, which will be the Aggies’ final swimming action prior to the Southeastern Conference Championships Feb. 16-20. The Aggie women have won 14 straight dual meets against the Tigers dating back to 2001 when LSU handed the Aggies a 133-109 defeat in Baton Rouge in head coach Steve Bultman’s second season in Aggieland.
Men’s Team Update:
The Aggie men’s team will put its 5-1 dual meet record on the line against the No. 22-ranked and 5-1 Tigers. The Aggies have won two of three against the Tigers since joining the SEC with each team winning in its home pool. Under 12th year head coach Jay Holmes, the Aggies have compiled an 8-3 record in the yearly rivalry with the Bayou Bengals.

Saturday’s meet will be Senior Day for the Tigers with 12 members of the Class of 2016 being honored prior to the competition. … 16th year Texas A&M head women’s coach Steve Bultman is a 1970 graduate of LSU and was a two-year letterman for the Tiger swimming team.
