Telangana Aur Mohali Ke Swimmers Ne Jeeta Gold – Indian Swimming News

Telangana swimmer Mylari Suhas Preetham ne boys division ke 50m backstroke event mein gold medal jeeta. Ye unhone chal rahe 67th National School Games Swimming Championship jo ki Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool Complex Talkatora, New Delhi mein ho rahi hai usme kar ke dikhaya hai Sunday ko.

Is jeet ke sath, Suhas ki medal tally three ki ho gai hai, iske pahle unhone 2 silver medals bhi jeeta tha. 50m backstroke event mein unhone 27.32s ki timing ke sath top kiya aur Haryana ke Arjun Singh aur Karnataka ke Aman Abhijit Sungar second aur third position par rahe respectively.

200m medley event mein another State swimmer Dhulipudi Varshith ne secured kiya silver medal wo bhi 2:17.43s ki timing ke sath aur  R Navaneeth jo ki Gowda Kendriya Vidhyalaya Sangathan ke hai unse piche rahe inhone 2:17.33s ki timing ke sath gold medal jeeta tha.

Results: Boys: 50m Backstroke 15-17 yrs: 1. Mylari Suhas Preetham (TS) (27.32s), 2. Arjun Singh (HAR) (28.49s), 3. Aman Abhijit Sungar (KAR) (28.55s);

Boys: 200m Medley 15 – 17 yrs: 1. R Navaneeth (GKVS) (2:17.33s), 2. Dhulipudi Varshith (TS) (2:17.43s), 3. Prithviraj G Menon (ISCE) (2:17:75s);

Boys: 100m Butterfly 11 – 14 yrs: 1. Laitonjam Lanchenba (MN) (59.40s), 2. Samarth Gowda (CBSE)(1:02.11s), 3. TS Tejas Kumar (ISCE) (1:02:76s).

Punjab girls’ swimming team ne bhi ongoing 67th School Games Federation of India (SGFI) National Swimming Championship mein gold medal jeeta.

Girls ki team ne ye medal 4*100m freestyle event mein jeeta. Ye team ko represent kiya tha Mohali swimmers Jasnoor Kaur, Varnika, Vanisha aur Pathankot’s Shivani ne. Jasnoor ne 50m butterfly event mein bhi jeet hasil ki.
