MEET NOTES: Ohio State Duals Cleveland State and Kenyon at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion Thurs & Fri
The Ohio State women’s swimming and diving team will look to continue building early momentum by hosting back-to-back duals vs. Cleveland State and Kenyon at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion Thursday and Friday, respectively. Both meets are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Fast Splits and New Records Color the Annual NCAC Relays
During the NCAC relays, Kenyon took control early and held on. In the swimming portion, contested in Gambier, nine event records fell and several swimmers put out some splits that may give us a glimpse of what this season will hold.

Records have been falling like flies after the first day of racing at the NCAC Championships, hosted by Denison University in their home pool, the Trumbull Aquatic Center. The Denison men and Kenyon women are currently leading after Day I.
Kenyon Winter Invitational – Day Two, More Records Fall
The second day of the Kenyon Winter Invitation proved to be just as quick and as much fun to watch as Day One. For host Kenyon College, though the event open auspiciously with very fast swims from both the Lords and the Ladies, the superior depth of the DI and DII teams arrayed against them led to a fourth place finish for the Ladies, and a third place finish for the Lords. On both sides, Ohio State University was victorious (795.5 women, 741 men).
Kenyon Winter Invitational – Day One; Norris Breaks Records
The first night of the Kenyon Invitational, hosted in the James A Steen Natotorium saw some seriously fast swimming. That’s unsurprising, considering there are three DI schools in the house. The highlights of the evening were OSU’s Alex Norris taking down two pool records.
