SwimOutlet.com, the web’s most popular swim shop, announced Wednesday that a portion of each sale in its “pink” category for the month of October will be donated to Swim Across America, the non-profit organization which organizes charity swims with the proceeds funding life saving cancer research and clinical trials.
The two partners have worked together for five years dating back to 2015 with SwimOutlet.com providing all of Swim Across America’s custom caps for SAA charity swimming events. SwimOutlet.com and Swim Across America have also shared news, photos and stories about each other with various social media promotions and newsletter inclusions to their audiences, and the Swim Across America store is hosted on the popular SwimOutlet team store platform.
“This is the first year we have designated a particular non-profit that donations will go towards based on sales of specific products during this month of October and Breast Cancer Awareness,” said SwimOutlet.com CMO Alexander Sienkiewicz. “Swim Across America has more than 20 cancer research beneficiaries it raises money, several of which have research focused on finding a cure and improved treatments for breast cancer.”
Throughout October, every unit sold in the “pink” Breast Cancer Awareness category will include a $1 donation from SwimOutlet.com to Swim Across America towards its grantees that include breast cancer research.
“Philanthropy for cancer research has lead to new treatments and cures,” said Rob Butcher, CEO of Swim Across America. “These additional donations from SwimOutlet will be added to our grant funding giving hope to patients and families fighting cancer.”
SwimOutlet.com and Swim Across America have committed to their partnership in 2020 for a sixth consecutive year.
