SwimMAC Elite has certainly been making the rounds in Italy, first with stellar swims and fun selfies at the Nico Sapio Trophy in Genoa, then with a dip in the Mediterranean, followed by a clinic in Bolzano, Italy. The crew conducted a clinic in Bolzano with both the Italian SSV Bozen Schwinnem team, as well as a cluster of young SwimMAC athletes who traveled to Italy.
According to the SwimMAC website, 15 club swimmers from their Shark (13-14) Division were selected via an application process to travel to Italy and compete in Bolzano as part of a biennial SwimMAC tradition. The trip is aimed at not only giving the athletes an unforgettable competitive experience, but also provides a chance for the youth to learn about and experience Italian culture via staying with local host families.
