Vacations really=== coaches need to relax!!!
We travel a fair amount to see family, even overseas and my kids always reached out to local swim teams. It was a great experience-met new friends, trained with different coaches. Never met a team that said no. All were welcoming.
THAT is a GREAT IDEA!
When I’m on vacation I have to make sure they have a lap pool available or one very close so my daughter can practice, if not the coach gets upset with her!!
We went to whistler in February and my daughter was in the lap pool out side every evening with me sat on the side must be made or the chlorine has pickled our brain
Making your Divisional or State cut time but aging up the day before that meet:(
I age up two days before. It sucks.
I feel your pain vintage Mom. We were in Mayan Riviera and my son was in the middle of training for junior nationals. No lap pool at the resort, no public facility within an hour drive. I found a nearby adults only resort that had a lap pool and we snuck in. I ran the clock on my iPhone as the guests drank Margaritas and watched him workout. He complained that the 85 degree water was a little warm for a workout. Fun adventure
Fun adventure indeed!
