Male Swimmer of the Week
Nicolas Fink • Georgia
Senior • Morristown, N.J.
In No. 3 Georgia’s meet with No. 1 Texas, Fink won two individual races and was on two victorious relays. He swept the breaststroke races as he took the 100 in 53.58 and the 200 in 1:55.19. Fink also helped the 200 medley relay win in 1:27.06. The 200 medley relay time is the fastest dual-meet time and ranks ninth overall in school history. Fink anchored the 400 freestyle relay that touched first in 2:56.19.
Male Diver of the Week
Tyler Henschel • Texas A&M
Freshman • Sherwood Park,
Alberta, Canada
Henschel posted five wins in six chances, with the only runner-up finish coming at the hands of Tennessee’s Mauricio Robles in the three-meter dive vs. Tennessee by 12 points. He won the 1-meter (363.68) and 3-meter (424.65) events vs. No. 18 Alabama. Henschel also recorded a 363.85 in the 1-meter and 376.35 in the 3-meter against Missouri State and No. 15 Tennessee.
Male Freshman of the Week
Mauro Castillo • Texas A&M
Freshman • Zacatecas, Mexico
Castillo posted four wins in six chances in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes vs. No. 15 Tennessee, Missouri State and No. 18 Alabama. He posted victories in the 100 breast and 200 breast, and was part of the winning 200 medley relay squad against Missouri State.
Female Swimmer of the Week
Sarah Henry • Texas A&M
Senior • Garner, N.C.
Henry contributed seven victories in four different races to lead the Aggies to a double-dual win over No. 11 Tennessee and SMU and a win over Alabama. Against the Lady Vols and Mustangs, Henry swept the 200 fly, 500 free and 400 IM. Versus the Crimson Tide, she touched the wall first in the 1650 with a time of 16:36.76.
Female Diver of the Week
Madison Hudkins • Texas A&M
Sophomore • Murrieta, Calif.
Hudkins helped the Aggies to wins over No. 11 Tennessee and regional rival SMU by sweeping the one- and three-meter dives in the double dual. She finished with a score of 305.30 in the one-meter event and 318.40 in the three-meter.
Female Freshman of the Week
Beryl Gastaldello • Texas A&M
Freshman • Miramas, France
Gastadello helped the Aggies to double dual victories over No. 11 Tennessee and SMU with wins in the 100 back and 100 fly and swimming the leadoff leg on the winning 200 medley relay. She came back the next day to earn a win in the 100 back and help the Aggies to another win in the medley relay vs. Alabama.
