Stories of US National Team Members and interview with Julie Cooper

Hello All,

The Olympic Trials are complete, and the 2012 Olympic Team is now getting ready to perform in London!

While in Omaha, I interviewed several National Team Members. You have already seen a few interviews (Sergio Lopez who represented Spain, Dave Wharton, for USA, and Gary Hall Jr and Gary Hall Sr. for USA). In the next few weeks, I hope you enjoy stories from top USA athletes. Some share their mindset. Others share their experience representing the USA. And there are a few surprises in there as well.

Today’s interview is with Julie Cooper 3-time USA National Swim Team Member! She shares her experience of her first international trip for USA, and her conversation with Janet Evans before she broke the 800 meter freestyle world record.

Enjoy!

Totally cute interview. It was fun seeing her think back to her memories and how it still holds a wonderful spot in her life.

Great story/interview, Trina although the music in the background was a bit distracting!
