Illinois-based swimmer Hannah Reiser has made her college decision, and she’ll be staying in state when she starts her NCAA career next season. Reiser has given her commitment to swim for Southern Illinois starting Fall 2017. She’ll be competing for the Salukis in the Missouri Valley Conference, and she’s joining a team that won the MVC Championship title in the 2015-16 season.
Reiser currently trains with the Springfield YMCA in Springfield, Illinois. Her major contributions will likely come in the backstroke events, but she’s also shown versatility with her swims in the freestyles and 200 IM. She’ll be making the move to the Southern Illinois campus after graduating from Porta High School at the end of this school year.
