DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU men’s swimming and diving program has released its 2022-23 schedule.

The Mustangs are coming off back-to-back conference championships after winning their second straight American Athletic Conference title last season.

Head Coach Greg Rhodenbaugh‘s team will open this season with the SMU Classic October 7-8, which welcomes top competition from around the country.

The Mustangs will hit the road once in the fall with a contest at Minnesota. SMU will later host Oklahoma Christian and UIW on Oct. 29. In November, the Mustangs will host the SMU Invite before closing out the fall slate with TCU on Dec. 2.

The spring portion of the schedule begins with a trip to Miami where the Mustangs will face Boston College. The Mustangs will then welcome Texas A&M to Dallas on Jan. 27 for senior day prior to closing out the regular season with a road trip to face Texas.

This year’s American Athletic Conference Championships will take place at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center Feb. 15-18. The NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships are set for March 22-25 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

THE leading story in swimming right now. I hope that not only SMU wins NCAAs, but also I hope they win at the Olympics 🔥
Should be easy with how many transfers are inbound

TCU vs SMU gonna go crazy… teams have traded wins on both sides the past two seasons. Can’t wait for a little post midseason dual between the squads. My guess is a ultra tight battle… Frogs by 90.
