Analeis Vos from Shingle Springs, California, has committed to swim and study at the University of San Diego beginning in the fall of 2022.

Vos, a senior at Ponderosa High School, will be the third member of her family to swim in college. Her older brother Paul Vos swam at Cal Poly and her sister Koyla Vos swims at Biola.
Vos wrapped up her prep swimming career in May with a 3rd-place finish in the 50 free (23.43) and a runner-up finish in the 100 free (50.95) at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championships. From there, she went on to compete at the 2022 California State Championships and came in 13th in both events (23.73/51.67).
A member of the Sierra Marlins Swim Team, she focuses mainly on freestyle and backstroke. She achieved lifetime bests in the 50/100 free and 50/100 back during senior year high school season and opened the 2022 long course season with new PBs in the 50/100 free (27.09/59.70) at the Summer Sanders meet in June.

Vos is a big pick-up for the Toreros. Her best 50/100 free times would have been the team’s leading individual performances last season. She would have been on the A/B-final bubble in both the 50 and 100 free at the 2022 MPSF Championships. She also would have been in the B-final of the 100 back along with freshman Abigail Muaddi and senior Hannah Hudson.
