In a timed-finals day of racing on Sunday, wrapped before the start of Sunday evening’s Super Bowl, US National Teamer Isabelle Stadden added another win to her tally for the meet.

She was disqualified in the 50 free and scratched the 200 breast on Sunday, but successfully competed the 200 back in 1:56.43. That came after wins in the 100 back (52.69) and 200 IM (1:59.65) on Saturday.

The 50 free saw Maxine Parker, who is back training with her home club CATS in Illinois after time spent with 2 clubs on the East Coast, win in 22.88. That added to a 3rd-place finish in the 100 free (49.82) and 200 free (1:53.17). Parker was a member of the USA Swimming team that competed at the 2019 World Junior Championships where she won a silver medal in the long course 50 free.

Carly Novelline, who won the 100 free earlier in the meet, took 2nd in the 50 in 23.14.

In the boys’ pool, Kaiser Neverman of the Green Bay YMCA picked up his 2nd and 3rd individual wins of the meet. After topping the 100 fly on Saturday (48.68), he won the 200 fly (1:53.60) and 200 free (1:41.64) on Saturday. He also finished 2nd in the 50 free (21.17) behind Sam Bork, who won by half-a-second in 20.68.

Bork was 3rd in the 200 free in a new lifetime best of 1:43.71. He also won the 100 back (50.29) and 200 IM (1:53.11) earlier in the meet.

There were 2 individual Meet Records broken in age group competition. Lucy Thomas won the girls’ 13-14 200 breaststroke in 2:17.99. That knocked more than a second off Brigid Gwidt’s 2018 record of 2:19.36. It was also Thomas’ best time by 2.3 seconds and ranks her as the 10th-best 13-14 in the country this season.

12-year old Alana Berlin won the girls’ 11-12 50 yard fly in 26.20, which broke her own Meet Record of 26.39 set at this meet last year. Her best time is 25.52.

Berlin also swam the leadoff leg on Schroeder’s record-breaking 11-12 400 free relay, where she split 54.48 and combined with Ariana Zhao (54.42), Akos Bonlender (56.08), and Amy Hu (54.50) to win and break the record in 3:39.38.

In total, Berlin won 8 races at the meet: the 50 fly, 50 back, 100 back, 50 breast, 100 breast, 100 IM, 200 IM, and 2 relays.
