Saginaw Valley State Women Sign 6

UNIVERSITY CENTER – Saginaw Valley State University Women’s Swimming & Diving Head Coach Bruce Zimmerman is excited to announce the addition of six student-athletes to the program for the 2015-16 season.  Signing National Letters of Intent during the fall signing period were Taylor Grashuis, Alexandra Davis, Amanda Thielen, Lydia Mattar and Samantha Tarbuck.  Additionally, Mackenzye Dafforn-Koebler has been accepted to SVSU and will be a member of the team.

“I could not be happier with this group of girls who have chosen to attend Saginaw Valley State University for the continuation of their educations and swimming careers,” said Zimmerman, who is currently leading the program in its first year of competition.  “First and foremost, all of these young ladies are outstanding students who are committed in the classroom and to earning a degree from SVSU.  In the pool, they are exceptional swimmers and competitors who will come in as freshmen and make an immediate contribution to the program.  This will help us continue to grow and become more competitive in the GLIAC and on the national stage.”
