Sacred Heart Women Defeat St Francis NY On Senior Day

MILFORD, Conn.- Major sweeps across the board for the Sacred Heart University swimming and diving program led to a 156-135 victory over St. Francis (N.Y.) on senior day.

Highlights

SHU swept the 1-meter dive with first-year Olivia McNicholas taking first with a score of 230.93 while Meghan McLaughlin placed second with a score of 208.57 and Natalie Carbone rounded out the top three with a score of 193.42.

Emily Peter had an amazing senior day winning two events (100 free with a time of 56.29 and the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.16).

Casey Barrett was also a double event winner in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.51 and in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:10.86)

In addition to diving, SHU took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the 100 free (Emily Peter, Emma McCall, Alivia Gibson) and 100 backstroke (Casey Barrett, Casi Glejzer, Kelly Bartnett)
