Six World Records from as many countries fell on the second to last day of the 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships. With one day of competition remaining, Russia and Ukraine are tied at the top of the medal table with 55 medals each. The Russian men finished today’s session by winning the last medal of the day to tie Ukraine. They broke the World Record to win the men’s 4×100 medley relay 34pts with a 4:06.09.
Brazil’s Daniel Dias won his seventh medal of the Games today medal in the men’s 4×100 medley relay 34pts. His first six medals were all gold, but today’s relay will stick out as his first silver medal.
Ihar Boki of Belarus had a big day, winning his sixth medal of the Games. He secured a gold medal in the men’s 100 freestyle S13 with a new World Record time of 50.85. He currently has five gold medals and one silver medal.
Jessica Long of the United States also earned her seventh medal of the games, taking home a silver medal in the women’s 100 backstroke S8. She has four gold medals and three silver medals for the week. She has two more medals than the next closest female competitor this week.

- Women’s 100 Backstroke S6 – Zheng Tao, CHN – 1:12.94
- Men’s 100 Freestyle S13 – Ihar Boki, BLR – 50.85
- Men’s 200 Freestyle S2 – Yang Yang, CHN 4:17.86
- Women’s 100 Breaststroke SB11 – Maja Reichard, SWE 1:27.24
- Women’s 50 Backstroke S3 – Lisette Teunissen, NED 51.23
- Men’s 4×100 Medley Relay 34pts – Russia – 4:06.09
well it happened….right in front of everyone eyes…. and still no one cares. Madisson Elliot won the 100backstroke in s8 for women yesterday in a time of 1:17, after only days earlier competing in the same event at the same meet and going 1:25. She was classed up to an s9 at a meet in germany in april, and after you are classed up or down classifiers watch your next races to make sure you are in the right class. well madissons next race after being classed up to an s9 was the 100 back at worlds for s9. She went 125 and was then classed back down to an 8.
