Rose Bowl Aquatics Breaks All-Time Swim-a-Thon™ Fundraising Record

The USA Swimming Foundation congratulates Rose Bowl Aquatics (Pasadena, Calif.) for breaking the all-time fundraising club record by raising over $118,000 as a result of their May 17, 2013 Swim-a-Thon™ event.

“Rose Bowl Aquatics is very proud of its team effort to achieve the highest Swim-a-Thon™ fundraising totals the past three years running,” said Rose Bowl Head Coach, Jeff Julian. “This success exemplifies our philosophy that, in order for good things to happen, swimmers, parents and coaches must work and bond together as a team.”

For the first time in history, the USA Swimming Foundation’s 2013 Swim-a-Thon™ fundraising program surpassed $5.7 million dollars in gross revenue for clubs participating in the program, and for the USA Swimming Foundation. With over 510 clubs hosting a Swim-a-Thon™ and nearly 29,000 swimmers participating, Swim-a-Thon™ increased its gross revenue by 21% from the previous year.
