St Louis area distance specialist Jordan Stout gave her verbal commitment to Jack Bauerle’s Bulldogs this weekend, and says she knew Georgia was the place for her as soon as she stepped on campus.
Jordan is a USA Swimming All-American Scholar and a member of the National Honors Society. She has been a power at the Region VIII Sectional meets in the freestyle and butterfly events for multiple seasons while representing Rockwood Swim Club. Her best 200 freestyle has qualified her for Summer Nationals, and she has reached the Winter Juniors A-final in the 500 freestyle. Jordan has also qualified and swam at Open Water Nationals as well.
Jordan’s best times in the 500 and the mile would have scored in the C-final of the SEC meet last spring, and her 200 free would have solidly landed in the B final. Both the 200 and 500 would be NCAA B cuts based on 2015-16 season qualifying times as well.
“I know I am going to love Georgia. I chose Georgia because as soon as I stepped on campus, I felt immediately at home. I fell in love with the team and school, and I know I will excel under their talented coaching staff. Also, the school offered the perfect combination of academics and athletics for me! I can not wait to be a part of the Dawg family!”
