RACE VIDEO: Felipe Ribeiro de Souza Breaks Brazilian Age Record in 100 Free

Thanks to SwimItUp for posting the above video to YouTube.

Watch above as Brazilian 16-year old Felipe Ribeiro swims a 49.93 in the 100 long course meter freestyle at the Brazilian Youth Championships this week. That breaks the Brazilian National Record for 16-year olds of that age that was held by his training partner Matheus Santana and makes him the youngest Brazilian ever under 50 seconds.

Read more about that record here.

Once more, Ribeiro beats a Santana best.He is now in that phase he will be between a National star(if he beats Santana 17years-old best-49.13)and a International one(Santana 18years-old-48.25).Only time will tell.
