It’s a star-studded event, the top six or seven coming in with practically interchangeable seed times. We give the nod to Cal’s Missy Franklin, on whom the Bears will be counting for big points in this event. Somehow we expect that will make her even better.

Club Wolverine swept three of the four men’s events on the third night of racing in Plantation, Florida, and incoming Michigan freshman Clara Smiddy had three high finishes on a busy night.

Hawaii high school star Mau wins twice in Washington during mainland swing-through, Schoeman takes 100 free

Jasmine Mau won the 100 free and 200 fly on the second night of action at Speedo Sectionals in Federal Way. South African Roland Schoeman arrived to beat Ryan Hoffer in the 100 free.
