Monta Vista Girls Win First-Ever SCVAL Title; Paly Boys Keep Streak Alive

Monta Vista High School celebrated their girls’ first-ever SCVAL De Anza Division League title on Saturday. The Matadors beat out perennial champions Palo Alto and Gunn High Schools in a closely-contested battle. The men’s meet was more one-sided, as Paly walked away with its ninth victory in ten years.

Mitty Girls, Bellarmine Boys Win League Titles at WCAL Championship Meet

Curtis Ogren (pictured) was a double event winner for St Francis at the 2014 West Catholic Athletic League swimming and diving championships. The Stanford-bound senior also helped the Lancers break two WCAL relay records.
