New Mexico State Falls to Wyoming

New Mexico State hosted Wyoming on Friday, as the NMSU women fell to the Cowgirls 178-122. Wyoming’s Nicole Hlavacek swept the distance events, while her teammate Abby Sullivan swept the backstroke races to help their team to a win.

Grand Canyon Tops Seattle, LMU in Home Opener

Grand Canyon earned victories over Seattle University and Loyola Marymount in their home opener this weekend. The Grand Canyon women beat Seattle 120-84 and Loyola 123-79. The GCU men topped Seattle 136-68.

The Emory & Henry College Women’s Swimming Team (2-0) opened the dual meet portion of its season Friday afternoon with a pair of dominating victories over Bridgewater College and King (Tenn.) University.

Ball State swimming & diving fell to Akron and Toledo on the road Friday. Toledo won the matchup 195-105. Akron, the defending MAC champs, came out with a 221-78 win.

College Swimming Meet Recap: Cottrell & Worrell Top NCAA Charts

This weekend saw several swims that top the NCAA charts this season. At the SMU Classic, Andee Cottrell’s 200 breast and Kelsi Worrell’s 100 free are both top in the nation. Texas and Florida International competed in multiple dual meets won each meet that they contested this weekend.

Barrett Doubles as Northern Colorado Overtakes Nebraska-Omaha

Northern Colorado overtook Nebraska-Omaha in a dual meet on Monday. The Mavericks fell to the Bears, 186-114. UNC’s Carleigh Barrett impressed, garnering wins in the 200 fly (2:10.31) and 1000 free (10:59.67).

Host Team Moves to 5-0 Season at FIU’s Dual-a-Palooza

In the third and final installment of Florida International University’s Dual-a-Palooza, the Rice Owls and FIU Panthers repeated their wins in the morning, but traded opponents. . The meet features four teams (FIU, Rice, FAU, Miami-Fla) that compete simultaneously in three separate sessions. Scoring is in a straight head-to-head dual meet format.
