Hutchins Named Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week

Wisconsin’s Matt Hutchins garnered Big Ten swimmer of the week honors after his performance at the Texas Invite. Hutchins set a new school record in the 1650, clocking a 14:38.14. Matt Barnard earned diver of the week honors once again after sweeping the diving events at the Jean K. Freeman invite.

Lilly King Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

Indiana’s Lilly King was named Big Ten swimmer of the week after winning gold in the 200 breast at Winter Nationals. She also picked up a silver in the 100 breast. Diver of the week went to Minnesota’s Lexi Tenenbaum, who won the platform title at the Jean K. Freeman invite.

Koski, Smoliga Named SEC Swimmers of the Week

Koski recorded an NCAA automatic qualifying standard during the UGA Fall Invitational. He led off the 800-yard freestyle relay with an A-cut time of 1:33.07.
