Michael Phelps To Appear On Tonight’s ‘America’s Got Talent’

The most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps, may be retired from his amazing feats in the pool, but his on-deck popularity is continuing to soar.

As just announced by NBC, Phelps is slated to appear on tonight’s episode of ‘America’s Got Talent’, the network’s wide-ranging, highly entertaining talent show. While it’s not clear if Phelps will be a guest judge or just make a special appearance sometime during the show, the 23-time Olympic gold medalist will no doubt make his presence known on the eclectic talent show.

We also know that regular ‘AGT’ judge Simon Cowell will be inclined to ask Phelps for a picture with the Brit’s son, as Cowell commented to Access Hollywood that his young swimmer is a big fan.

Watch live or set our DVRs for 9pm Eastern to watch Phelps on-screen yet again.

Who are we to judge what M Phelps does with his life! He sacrificed so much for so many years I consider it’s his time to enjoy his family and time as he pleases.

ah, continuing the quest for “gold”. attracted to round, gold objects. but it’s not a golden button… it’s a golden boozza (per MelB).

Good for Michael. The more publicity he gets the better it is for the sport in general. Most people do not follow swimming post Olympics so it makes sense that an ambassador of the sport can keep our sport in the public’s consciousness.

Recent article said his net worth was $55M USD. Not have to work so hard at a “job” to feed the family I would think. Got $200K for his Instagrams or similar prior to Rio too I believe.

Who knows how accurate those articles are and net worth doesn’t mean he has 55 mil sitting in a bank. He could have it tired up on other assets that aren’t liquid.

It’s always good to keep the cash flow coming in. He’s only 31 and will need to keep busy.

He should cash in with appearances, endorsements and of course his MP brand. But he and his PR team make good decisions. He now has such a marketable image!
