Pepperdine signs Arizona product Morgan Rosztoczy

YMCA Westside Silverfins freestyler/backstroker Morgan Rosztoczy has signed on to swim with Pepperdine University next season.

Rosztoczy comes out of Goodyear, Arizona, where she competes for Millennium High School. She’ll head to Pepperdine in Malibu, California to compete in the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC).

Rosztoczy’s Top Times

  • 50 free: 24.97
  • 100 free: 54.70
  • 100 back: 1:04.33
  • 200 back: 2:19.92

The PCSC scores down to 32nd place, and Rosztoczy would have already made that cut last year with her lifetime-bests. Her 50 free would have gotten her into the top 20, and her 100 time would have placed her in the top 25. She looks like an instant contributor on Pepperdine’s free relays, and should help the Waves as they try to improve on a 5th-place finish last year.
