Isabella Green, another member of the huge senior class at Sandpipers of Nevada, has given her verbal agreement to swim for University of the Pacific beginning in the fall of 2015.
Green excels in backstroke and IM. Her times include:
200y back: 2:00.02 | 200m back: 2:20.12 |
100y back: 58.02 | 100m back: 1:05.96 |
50y back: 27.59 | 50m back: 31.78 |
400y IM: 4:27.16 | 400m IM: 5:00.29 |
200y IM: 2:07.04 | 200m IM: 2:26.09 |
50y free: 24.62 | 50m free: 28.86 |
Swimming for Sierra Vista High School at the 2014 Nevada High School State Championships, Green placed fifth in the 100 free and sixth in the 100 back. The previous year she was fifth and fourth, respectively, and as a freshman, she placed seventh in the 100 free.
In long course season, Green had a great Western Zone Senior Championships, finishing seventh in the 200m back, winning the consolation of the 400m IM with the third-fastest overall time, and winning the C-final of the 100m back.
Green is well-positioned to be a strong member of the Tigers’ squad from her freshman season. Her 200 back time would have made the A-final at the 2014 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation conference championship, while her 400 IM would have made the B-final and her 100 back, the C. The MPSF swims three finals at conference but only two score.
Congratulations baby I love you and I’m very proud of you. Love daddy.
Congratulations Isabella! You will love UOP and Coaches Richardson and Wong.
