Open Turn, Phelps vs Bolt

On this episode of Open Turn, Braden “The Machine” Keith and Garrett McCaffrey discuss three hot topics in the swimming news this week.

No one is doing more analysis of the college scene than Braden with his SwimSwam Power Rankings. He explains how his system works, why some of the teams fall where they do, and when you should expect to see updated rankings.

Which Olympic legend is more worthy of the Laureus Sports Award, Michael Phelps or Usain Bolt? Braden and Garrett go back and forth on why one is more deserving than the other.

And finally, US Short Course Nationals starts this weekend in Austin and we want to know which gold medalist is going to have the best meet. Make sure to vote in SwimSwam’s Poll of the Week, presented by A3.

Which Gold Medalist will have the best meet at US SC Nationals?
