The Oberlin College Yeomen and Yeowomen headed south from Ohio to the Sailfish Splash Water Park in Stuart, Florida for their 2018 winter training trip. After a pair of top 5 finishes at the Fredonia Invitaitonal in New York heading into the holiday (the men were 4th of 9, women 5th of 9), the team went on nearly a 6-month competition break.
Their next meet will be on January 13th against fellow D3 opponent Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. The team is building toward the NCAC Championships, which will be held from February 14th-17th. The women placed 5th at last year’s meet out of 9 teams, while the men were 8th out of 10 teams.
