Northeastern’s Jamie Koo Represent Singapore At SC World Championships

BOSTON – Northeastern swimming and diving team freshman Jamie Koo will be representing Singapore at the upcoming 15th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), held in UAE, United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, on December 16th through 21st.

  • Koo is welcomed with the best swimmers in the globe for a six-day event, that will take place in the iconic Etihad Arena.
  • The sophomore has been stellar in the pool for the Huskies this season, highlighted by a school-record time of 53.41 in the 100 Fly.
  • Koo also had event wins this season in the 50-yard Freestyle (23.56) at the Northeastern tri-meet, and won the 100-yard Freestyle (52.56) at the UConn tri-meet.

Koo and the Huskies will host New Hampshire on Saturday, December 11. Events are slated to begin at 12 pm in Barletta Natatorium.
