SwimAtlanta senior Aja Malone has signed her NLI to swim for Northwestern University this coming fall. The Allatoona High School star looks like an immediate-impact pickup in the butterfly races for the Wildcats.
Malone is a Georgia state champion with incoming times that would already rank her in the Northwestern all-time top 5 in several events.
She’s been 54.17 in the 100 fly and 1:59.16 in the 200 fly and adds to that a 56.26 100 back. Beyond that, Malone has probably been even more impressive in long course, going 1:00.77 in the 100 fly and 2:15.24 in the 200.
Looks like a great year for both NU women & men’s programs. GO CATS!!
