Etter earned his Winter Junior National qualifying time at the Greensboro Futures meet, where he dropped nearly 5 seconds in finals of the 400 IM. He qualified for Open Water Nationals by winning the Eastern Zone qualifier in Atlantic City’s Bridge to Bridge 5k. It was his second career open water 5k, and his winning time, 59:31, was his second time under an hour. Etter’s top swims include:

I want to thank Head Coach Ray Looze and the rest of the staff for seeing potential in me and inviting me to be a part of the IU family.”

Joining him in the IU family will be fellow class of 2020 commits Alex Vissering, Chris Quarin, and Felix Auböck.
