NISCA Announces All America Late Fee Waiver

Courtesy: NISCA

Normally at this time of year, winter season high school coaches are scrambling to get their NISCA All America applications submitted with the March 31st deadline looming. Due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, NISCA is waiving the March 31st deadline and late fee for all winter season All America programs, as well as fall and winter season Academic and Scholar Team. We understand that it will be difficult, if not impossible, to get some of the necessary signatures and transcripts for the Academic and Scholar Team programs as well as for the All America Swimming, US Para Swimming, Diving, and Water Polo programs. Currently the last date to turn in applications is still June 15th. All other rules of the programs still apply.

The application portals are still active at www.niscaonline.org, and coaches can still submit their applications on-line. Accompanying materials that require signatures do not need to be mailed until later, as long as they are postmarked by June 15th. We encourage everyone who has an All America athlete or scholar team – whether swimmer, diver, para athlete, water polo player or varsity senior with a GPA of 3.75, or a team with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher to submit their applications. We want to recognize all of our athletes for their hard work, especially in these challenging times.
