I don’t believe anyone can top what Stanford Swimming does for our student athletes every year.
Coach Meehan took the entire team to Maui for a PRESEASON team retreat back on Sept 9!!!
Just goes to show how well recruits are taken care of on The Farm. No expenses spared that’s for sure!
Meanwhile I hear a rival school’s making their swimmers do double the training hours this Xmas break…
You are why when going to big meets, coaches and swimmers from around the country(and world) exchange texts that don’t read “good luck!” or “swim fast!” but instead “beat Stanford” and “put those d*uches where they belong.” Text after text after text. To Swimnerd: well good for Greg Meehan (who btw was a pretty darn good asst coach at Cal). But to set a few things straight here, Stanford isn’t the only college swim program that goes to Hawaii on their training trips. There are lots of schools who take their winter break training in the Hawaiian sun, including your fave Golden Bears :p
Hey ShattuckAve….keep it on the Down Low, if you know what I mean 😉
And because nobody here seems to get my jokes… http://www.shattuckdownlow.com/
