Morning Roundup: France Announces Relay; LOCOG Confirms Sell Out

…France has declared their preliminary round relay in the men’s 400, to be swum Sunday morning, according to France’s le Equipe. The relay will consist of Amaury Leveaux, Clement Lefert, Alain Bernard, and Jeremy Stravius, with William Meynard being left out of the relay altogether. That seems to imply that Fabien Gilot, and Yannick Agnel have a free pass to finals, with the four preliminary swimmers having to fight for the last two spots. Leveaux has to have the inside track, but any of the four could have good swims…

…The organizing committee for the opening ceremonies confirm that tonight’s event is a sellout. The official ceremony begins at 9PM London Time, which is 5 hours ahead of New York. Tickets were rumored to go for upwards of 3,000 pounds, which is better than $5,500…

Braden, Brazil has a problem:
The absence of Time Trials will put Brazil Team in a tight spot.It looks De Lucca was swimming below 50 in training and was expected a 48 something from him, but CBDA was expecting a Time Trial(like they do in Worlds) to make the choice.
