Keep an eye out for Ryan Lochte and Mr. Michael Phelps about three quarters of the way in the video. Monday Motivation anyone?

So, where’s Ledecky?

Anyone know if NBC plans to change up its swimming coverage next year? It would be great to be able to watch live on TV (NOT STREAMED) swimming prelims and finals (I live on the the West Coast). Their approach has been stale the last several Olympics.

NBC did their best job, in my opinion, in 1992 when they offered the “Triple Cast.” For approximately $99, our family watched live coverage of many different events (including swimming prelims and the entire men’s marathon). NBC lost money on Triple Cast because they did a poor job of marketing it.

Who will NBC have announcing and doing color for swimming? Some new faces would be a breath of fresh air!
