Garrett McCaffrey caught up with Mike Bottom who is starting his 5th season at the University of Michigan, the first as the head coach of both the men and the women. Still don’t get the Rick Bishop hire. And, volunteer assistants getting paid by the post -grads? Good in theory, but most post grads don’t make enough to eat let alone pay a coaches salary.
Stuff like this is great for the sport. We need more interesting things like this out there and we need the various swim websites getting the information out and in front of non swim nerds.
