2024 SC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Paris Olympic Games saw Lani Pallister become crowned an Olympic champion in the 4×200 free relay but miss the podium individually. Coming into the Budapest Short Course World Championships, Pallister wasn’t worrying about defending her world titles, but when she did, it seemed to hit her more than she thought it might.

I imagine Dawn Fraser’s (her godmother) accident was upsetting for her too around the same time.

i think she can — lanis only 22 and per pb came in an in season meet — altho tbh shes better off focusing on the 800/1500 given how competitive the 400 is.

its pretty frustrating she got sick in paris bc she definitely could have been a podium threat individually given how she was building throughout the season…
