Fitter and Faster Swim Clinics is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
High school seniors Josie Liebzeit and Isabella MacLean-Cariello from Lakewood Aquatics in Southern California have signed NLIs to swim in college. Liebzeit plans to attend Washington State University with fellow commits Emily Ward, Hailey Grotte, Payten Irwin, and Ula McPherson, while MacLean-Cariello will be swimming at the University of Idaho and will join Jamie Morgan in the class of 2024. Ironically, they will still be neighbors as the two schools are just miles apart.
Isabella MacLean-Cariello
“I’m excited to have signed with the University of Idaho !! I really feel like the campus and swim team were a great fit for me and I can’t wait to excel not only in academics but also in athletics. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have been given and, if it weren’t for my parents and my phenomenal coach, Jon Moore, achieving my dream of swimming Division 1 would not have been possible. Go vandals !!”
